They'll be girls across the nation that will eat this up.

What I wished like during it
There are many reasons it can suck to be a girl- but nothing comes even as close to the number one reason as the "cycle." Maybe childbirth- but at least you get something rewarding from that. Since I am such a fan of lists, I decided to explain (not in gory detail) why this simple change can make girls, who are calm and rational, become evil creatures.
1. No matter how much you plan on dieting, there is no way in this whole wide world you will be able to stick to it once it hits.
2. It makes you even more unproductive, if that is even possible.
What I actually look like during it.
3. You suddenly have urges to put on the sluttiest things, because for some reason you think you won't feel fat in it.
4. You feel fat.
5. Every little thing makes you want to cry. Be it getting a hug, watching an ant die on the sidewalk, or the fact that Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt broke up like five years ago.
6. You want to go around screaming "my ovaries are exploding okay?"
7. Every time you think it's over, it isn't.
8. Pain killers don't help all the time, sometimes they just make you in pain AND dopey.
9. It comes at the worst of times.
10. You have to hide your devices in your pockets, which makes an unusual shape in the pocket of your pants.
11. Boys think it's okay to say to you "It must be that time of month"
12. You always run into someone you know/like at the grocery store while buying your products.
13. Your face breaks out, as if you didn't have enough to cry about.
14. Whichever girls you are living with are on it at the same time- so everything becomes a fight with no solution.
15. You just want to sleep all the time, when you aren't even tired.
16. Nothing looks good on you.
17. You wish you could just carry around pies to shove in peoples faces.
18.  Everyone is out to get you.
19. No one understands. Boys think that we are just whimps, and girls have no sympathy because we all have to go through it.
20. You think every boy you ever dated was the one, and that you made a mistake dumping them because you are watching dirty dancing by yourself.

Last- the next week you have to fix all the things you broke when you were broken. And try desperately to convince yourself and others that it was not your real personality shining through, but a demon that possessed your body.

Let's face it though- while we can't control how annoyed, or offended we get, we can control what we say, and how we treat others, even in these magical times. So happy end of a cycle. May you all have a little patience.
